Featured on Little Bellows! [Orange County Portrait Photographer]

I submitted a portrait I took of my Mother late this summer to the "Thankful" theme at Little Bellows this week.

I love the way the sunlight is surrounding her and how pretty she looks. She named me after her grandmother, whom she adored, and I think she looks a lot like her in this image.

I love you Momma and I'm so thankful for all you've done for me. :)

Eye Candy! [Orange County Child Photographer]

This week I finally joined in My Four Hens Photography's 52 week project and surprise of all suprises, I made eye candy! I'm so happy :)

Sarah of My Four Hen's Photography makes my very favorite action sets for Photoshop and I just adore her free-spirited style.

The theme this week was "Hot and Cold".

I'm so excited! I won a photo challenge at The Fort Magazine!  If you haven't heard of them then you absolutely must visit their site. They publish a magazine "that focuses solely on boy themed sessions. We want to show you that photographing boys is an amazing experience filled with imagination and adventure."

Bathtime Fun! [Orange County Child Photographer]

Having a two year old makes every day an adventure. Yesterday she needed a bath (desperately) by only 11 am. Of course my camera is never far away so I thought I would share some of our bathtime fun with you. Have a great weekend!!

Ella's newborn session [ Orange County Newborn Photographer]

My sweet friend, and fellow photographer, offered me the use of her beautiful studio to do Ella's newborn session. It was such a blessing to use her space and borrow a few new props. The bucket shot I had invisioned when I was still pregnant with my son but I didn't get the opportunity to try it out because I was ill. I'm so glad I got to do it with Ella! She was a darling little model to try out my new bonnets on also. Once she was finally settled and asleep she was a perfect little poser and we zoomed right through the session. Such a sweet girl!

 



 

 

 

 

 

Ella's Birthday [Orange County Newborn Photographer]

I had the opportunity to be in the hospital with my sister as she gave birth to my second neice. It was a long labor with some difficulties but mom and baby were troopers and both did a great job. With her permission, I am sharing a few shots from this joyous event.
